After we complete 3-60 in Algebra, analyze the picture found at the link below. Describe in your own words what that picture tells you. AND Why would I include this picture as a resource during this unit? PLEASE REPLY!

To show us that the f is the function for what you do to x to turn it into y.
ReplyDeleteThe picture helps because you have a function with the x and then it equals the y. Also it represents what we are doing like a table.
ReplyDeleteBecause whatever you do to "x", always becomes part of the "y". The "function" turns "x" into "y".
ReplyDeleteYou can use any set oF number to get the whole set of numbers
ReplyDeleteThe function is how you get to the X to the Y. The picture helps because it is showing the function on how to get X to the Y.
ReplyDelete2x can F it would be the range
ReplyDeleteThe little x combines with the f to create a big y and the colors represent that you can use different numbers to x but you will always get a y to go with it. Also thhat x can turn into y.
ReplyDeleteThe picture is basically showing that the function helps you get the answer for the X and the Y. The X can fit into the Y.
ReplyDeleteThe picture tells me that what ever you do to x becomes a part of the y as long as you apply the rule to x.
ReplyDeleteThe picture is showing me that you can use any numbers to get a new set of numbers using a rule. You are using this because it is using the x to y formula.
ReplyDeleteThat the smaller oval in the y part is the range for the f part. That a x fits into the f part would be the range so you could take any number and turn it into x and you still have to apply the rule to get it.
ReplyDeleteThis picture shows x in y and the arrows show that when you apply the number of x to the equation you get y.
ReplyDeleteF is known as the range. And when you have an x and an x and they fit in the f and x can be any number
ReplyDeleteThis picture tells us that we can turn x into a y. This picture means that you can plug a number (x) into a rule to get a y.
ReplyDeleteThe picture represents the function and the x which equals the y.
ReplyDeleteIt turns x into y by a rule, and all you need to do the rule correctly
ReplyDeleteThe reason why this picture is there is it shows that yup can have any x and if you follow the rule you will get y.
ReplyDeleteThat X turns into Y and you need a rule after X to get a why. It does not matter what set of numbers you have as long as you follow the rule.
ReplyDeleteYou can put by number in for so as long as you put in some numbers to x you can get the outcome you need for y.
ReplyDelete11/1/10
ReplyDeleteThe range of f changes the shadow of y
The pic shows u need to plug in x to get y
ReplyDeleteFor the input
You always need to do something to x to equal y.
ReplyDeleteThe picture tells us to plug in x to get y
ReplyDeleteHe put this in because in this unit we go from x to y.
The picture tells us to plug in x to get y and it's in our unit because were learning about inputs.
ReplyDeleteI think it means that you have to do manipulate x somehow to get y.
ReplyDeleteYou need a formula or something to do to x to get the value of y.
ReplyDeleteX gos into y through a formula, or f.
ReplyDeleteKatie R
You can put any number for x. The x circle fits in the yellow. Y is bigger than x. This tells us that x is only one part of y. Meaning that y is the whole. He gave this to us because y is the whole in our equations and x is just one side of y.
ReplyDeleteThe image shows x compared to y. F is what is left to y when take x away from it
ReplyDeleteI think the picture tells us that X somehow will make a Y. I think you put that picture in this unit because it is kind of like a graph.
ReplyDeleteThe picture shows You need to change x to make y
ReplyDeleteIt shows you how to go from x to y.
ReplyDeleteTo get y you need to have an x! Hannah sheedy
ReplyDeleteIt helps because you must something x to get y.So by putting x in it your getting your equation. So you must take your x and your equation too get your y. Y is our whole.
ReplyDeleteThe very detailed picture shows us how to get y from x using very difficult and in depth equations. You put this on here to help us.
ReplyDeleteThe picture is showing that x can always go into y because it is part of the equation that makes y.
